Thekwini TVET College invites suitably qualified and experienced Facilitator to apply for the following contract post based in Durban.

CONTRACT PERIOD: 2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

 CAMPUS: CATO MANOR

REF NO: CAT 01/03/2026 

SALARY NOTCH: R270 498.00 per annum, plus 37% cash in lieu of benefits.

Requirements:  •Matric certificate  or equivalent •Recognized 3 year Diploma/Degree in Conference and Events Management or Food and Beverage Services (REQV 13) or related field •Teachers Qualification/Advanced Diploma in Technical Vocational Training •Valid SACE registration (Not provisional registration) •Teaching experience will be added advantage •Industry experience as a Conference and Events organizer •Facilitator/Assessor or Moderator certificate •Computer literate (Ms. Word and Excel) •Valid Drivers's License •Good Interpersonal Skills • Professionalism •Honesty •Punctuality  •Team player

Key Result Areas: • Conduct theoretical/practical classes as per the qualification requirements· Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner· Liaise with potential employers for student work placement· Monitor the work placement of students· Report and account for student performance in their programmes· Record and report on absenteeism· Perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning· Assist with the issuing and management of learning resources and equipment· Manage the inventory and teaching and learning equipment and consumables· Assess, monitor and record students’ progress and take action to ensure students meet required standards and deadlines. ·Liaise with Senior Lecturers, Head of Division and Student Support Services officials in providing support interventions to students ·Invigilation duties · Attend to uploading and management of LMS subject related portal.
