FITTER AND TURNER LECTURER (PL1) X2
CONTRACT PERIOD: 2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

SALARY NOTCH: R270 498.00, plus 37% cash in lieu of benefits.
Requirements: ·Matric or equivalent ·Recognized and relevant tertiary qualification in Fitting/Fitting and turning (REQV 13) · Advanced Teaching Diploma in TVT / Post Graduate Diploma TVET / Diploma in Secondary or Higher Education · Valid SACE registration (not provisional registration) ·Teaching experience will be an added advantage · Computer Numerical Control Programming will be an added advantage ·Sound subject knowledge and work-related applications ·Computer literacy (MS Office) ·Knowledge and experience in CNC machining will be added advantage ·Passion for teaching and learning ·Customer care; leadership and management skills; assertiveness; good record keeping and administrative skills; be a team player, have passion for learning and teaching; as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Result Areas: ·Assist with enrolment, registration and induction of students · Facilitate general academic and career development of students ·Teaching and learning delivery ·Assess and evaluate student progress ·Monitor student attendance register ·Maintain student attendance and performance records ·Creating classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning ·Provide feedback to students regarding their performance and progress ·Liaise with Senior Lecturers, Head of Division and Student Support Services officials in providing support interventions to students ·Invigilation duties · Attend to uploading and management of LMS subject related portal.CLOSING DATE: WEDNESDAY, 07 JANUARY 2026
