Thekwini TVET College invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following contract post based in Durban.

POST: SHE OFFICER X1

CONTRACT DURATION: 12 MONTHS

LOCATION: FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

REF: CORP 02/08/2025

SALARY NOTCH: R325 101.00 PA (SL7)

FRINGE BENEFITS: MEDICAL AID, PENSION, HOUSING ALLOWANCE AND SERVICE BONUS

Requirements: ·Recognized three-year National Diploma (NQF 6/Degree in Building Management/Safety Management/Construction Management or related qualification. Unendorsed CODE EB Driver’s License ·Previous experience as the health and safety officer could be an added advantage. ·Computer Literacy 

Key Result areas: •Conduct risk assessments and implement and monitor controls that need to be implemented to eliminate/ manage such hazards and risks • Assist in the drafting and facilitate the implementation of health and safety policies. •Coordinate the establishment of an OHS committee, conduct OHS-related training and continuous educational programmes Conduct the establishment of an OHS committee, conduct OHS-related training and continuous programmes.  •Identify hazards and risks in the sites of Thekwini TVET College and initiate appropriate actions.
