Thekwini TVET College invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following Part-Time administration clerk posts available in Durban.

Part-Time administration clerk posts are for the Trimester 2 & 3 and Semester 2 of the 2025 academic year. The programmes are to be offered by the College on part-time basis (classes run on week days in the afternoon and or on weekends):

POST: PART-TIME ADMINISTRATION CLERK (BUSINESS STUDIES) X1
RATE: R104.28 per hour
CAMPUS: Centec

Maximum Hours: 80 hours allocated for semesters and 60 hours allocated for trimesters (where two Administration Clerks are appointed per programme, per campus they will share the allocated hours)

Requirements: ·Matric certificate or equivalent ·Recognized and relevant tertiary qualification (REQV13) ·At least three years relevant experience ·Good computer skills (knowledge of Coltech is essential) ·Good administration and record keeping skills ·Good communication and interpersonal skills ·High level of accuracy and confidentiality ·Ability to work under pressure ·Ability to work well in a team ·Be able and willing to assist students with their queries.

Key Result Areas:·Attend to all administration duties of the Part Time programme ·Assist with enrolments ·Assist with induction/orientation programme ·Ensure enrolments on MIS occur timeously and accurately ·Ensure that student exam entries, preliminary schedules and year mark entries are captured and correct ·Capture student year marks on Coltech system and DHET mark sheets as per TVETMIS requirements ·Record keeping of students and staff attendance ·Issue exam permits ·Assist students and staff with Part Time administrative queries.
