CONTRACT
CAMPUS: CATO MANOR

SALARY NOTCH: R256 395.00 PA, plus 37% cash in lieu of benefits.
Requirements: Matric or equivalent ·A Diploma in Hairdressing/ Haircare (REQV 13) · Advanced Teaching Diploma in TVT / Post Graduate Diploma TVET / Diploma in Secondary or Higher Education ·Trade Test (Ladies & Gent: Caucasian and Afro) ·Assessor and Moderator certificates ·Valid SACE registration (not provisional registration) ·Minimum proven experience of 3 years working at a hairdressing salon ·Computer Literacy ·Customer care: Leadership skills· Assertiveness ·Good record keeping and Administration skills ·Team player ·Passion for teaching and learning as well as good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Result Ares: ·Conduct theoretical/practical classes as per the qualification requirements ·Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner ·Liaise with potential employers for student work placement· Monitor the work placement of students ·Report and account for student performance in their programmes ·Record and report on absenteeism ·Perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning ·Assist with the issuing and management of learning resources and equipment· Manage the inventory and teaching and learning equipment and consumables ·Assess, monitor and record students’ progress and take action to ensure students meet required standards and deadlines ·Liaise with Senior Lecturers, Head of Division and Student Support Services officials in providing support interventions to students ·Invigilation duties.
