CONTRACT
CAMPUS: MELBOURNE

SALARY NOTCH: R256 395.00 PA, plus 37% cash in lieu of benefits.
Requirements: •Matric certificate or equivalent •Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Information Technology (Robotics) or Robotics engineering or in an engineering discipline (Electrical engineering, Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics or other engineering related discipline) plus specialisation in Robotics or possess any of the NQF level 6 engineering qualifications listed above plus a minimum NQF level 5 training in robotics or possess any of the NQF level 6 engineering qualifications listed above or IT diploma plus a minimum 12 months relevant work/teaching experience in Robotics or possess a relevant minimum three year teaching qualification with a minimum of 12 months relevant teaching experience in FET phase or higher • Advanced Teaching Diploma in TVT / Post Graduate Diploma TVET / Diploma in Secondary or Higher Education .Valid SACE registration (not provisional registration) •Computer literacy (MS Office) •Passion for teaching and learning •Good record keeping and administrative skills •Good communication and listening skills, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience, good problem-solving skills.
Key Result Areas: •Teaching and learning delivery using Raspberry Pi and Arduino, coding in Python and C++, how to design Robotics circuits using Frizing, how to use simulator apps such as Wokwi and NCV Mathematics, L2-L4 •Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the students are conducted in a proper manner. •Assess, record, analyze and report the attainment of students •Management of student attendance, equipment and resources •Organize experiential training for students and perform any other duties as delegated and/or prescribed by applicable legislation, polices, manuals and guidelines. •Assess and evaluate student progress •Monitor student attendance register •Maintain student attendance and performance records •Creating classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning •Provide feedback to students regarding their performance and progress •Liaise with Senior Lecturers, Head of Division and Student Support Services officials in providing support interventions to students •Invigilation duties.
